This Advent the Vision is Jesus
Advent is a special time in the church calendar, it's a time to prepare for the
party but also a season to reflect on the coming of Christ. Four weeks where you
can ask yourself some pretty big questions. To help us ask those questions 24-7
Prayer will be releasing short devotional videos every day in the run up to
Christmas...

as characters from the nativity story and have their photo taken. The session is free of change and people can download their photos from the Get in the Picture website later in the day.
On the website there will also be links to further information about the true
meaning of Christmas and details of the various Christmas services taking place
across Newbury.
So how can you be involved? Most importantly please do pray for this event over
the coming days- that seeds might be sown. Do encourage your friends/neighbours
to come and find us and if you're around then pop along and get in the picture
too! Finally if you would like to be part of the team helping out on the day,
please contact Nikki Wilby through the
Church Office.

CTNA Christmas Day Celebration
The time has come again where we as Christians begin to look
forward to celebrating the birth of our saviour Jesus. This is a time when we
come together as families and share in the festivities, thanking God for his
gifts and the care he has shown to ourselves and loved ones.
There are however
people who are less fortunate and have no loved ones to share this joyful time
with. This is the need that we address each Christmas day with the help of the
churches of the town and the wider community who feel called to this social
need.
This year the
organisation of this event has been taken on solely by a handful of Christians
on behalf of the whole of Gods wider church in the town of Newbury and we need
your help in the run up to the event and on the day itself.
