STATEMENT OF FAITH
We shall seek to serve as the body of Christ in order
to extend the Kingdom of God and glorify His name.
The following is our statement of faith:
- We accept the revelation of the triune God given in the scriptures
consisting of the Old and New Testaments.
- We accept the divine inspiration of Holy Scripture and its supreme
authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- We accept that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for us that we
might be forgiven for our sin and given the hope and promise of
eternal life. The Grace of God makes this forgiveness possible
solely through Christ who was crucified and rose from the dead.
- We accept the illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying
work of God, the Holy Spirit.
- We accept the priesthood of all believers, who form the universal
Church, the Body of which Christ is the Head.
- We recognize that our beliefs and understanding of our faith lead to
a desire to witness to others, through love, practical Christian
service and evangelistic concern.
