Cancer Research : Race for Life

RAIN, wind and shine, but they still all came.

Nearly 3,000 women ran, walked or jogged for life around Newbury Showground on Sunday 1st July.
They varied in ages and abilities but they all had one common cause - to raise as much money as they could for Cancer Research UK.
And the clouds did disperse in time for the 5km fun run to ensure a little sunshine was spread throughout the day.

£243,000 was the target to be raised!
